I called boost mobile about a month ago inquiring about their $5 add on for international calling. My boyfriend wasn't sure if his mothers phone in Mexico was a cell or a house phone so, I called boost mobile to see if they could search if that number was included in that deal. I gave her the city state, and the number in Mexico and I was told YES it was included. I double check with her and thanked her for her assistance. Then, I went to my local Best buy to purchase a phone. I got it all set up in the lengthy process, then we made a call to Mexico. (mind you I just spent close to $300 for everything) and after about 15 minutes, the call was disconnected. So I tried again and received a message saying I didn't have enough money on my account. So I called and spoke with a rep for about 45-50 minutes and she kept reassuring me it was included and her supervisor was checking into it to see if there was a technical problem. After 45-50 minutes of being put on hold and put on hold and put on hold some more, she comes back to tell me that this was a house phone and it is not included. I asked to speak with the supervisor, she said to hold on and hung up on me. My father called back and spoke to a supervisor and explained that I was given false information about the company and about the services and it mislead me into purchasing a phone that I otherwise would not have purchased. He said he could not refund my money. The next day I took the phone back to best buy, they returned it. But I am still out the $50 for the card I had to purchase and the $10 I had to put onto my boost mobile account in order to add on the international calling
buyer beware, this company misleads it's customers and won't send a refund even if it was at the COMPANIES fault....And now I am out $60, great..I would like the CEO to come explain to my daughter why she will not get as many presents as usual for Christmas
