We signed up for this insurance because we are business owners with 3 small children and need some kind of insurance for emergencies. I quickly realized that I should've just saved my money to pay for medical bills rather than paying for this horrible insurance and still getting stuck with the bills. I first realized this when my son had to have tubes put in his ears. The surgery center called cinergy and preapproved this surgery. Then when I received the EOB they denied it, stating that is was pre- existing. My second experience was when I had my 3rd child. I was assured when I signed up for this insurance that maternity was covered 80/20, so when I received a bill for $5000.00 I was floored!! Cinergy stated that this was part of the facility charge which they only pay $500.00. Your cant have a baby without the facility!!!!!! Cinergy words everything in their policy so I sounds good when you signing up for it!! Then you have a claim and realize that this is the biggest SCAM!!
