Customer Service at its best

Customer service at its best is what I found in my experience with Greenlight loans and two of their representatives, loan officer Ronnie Friedman and closing coordinator Lekeshia Grant. As a recent widower whose late wife of forty years did all his finances for him, I have had to depend up the patience and understanding of others as I have taken control of my own financial affairs. If I had not met Ronnie Friedman, I would have been headed toward a financial crisis. I sought out Ronnie as I was inquiring about refinancing my mortgage. Ronnie took the time to look into my financial situation and informed me that the draw date of an equity loan of mine was due in the new future. I had no idea what the draw date was, and I was blindly just paying interest on this rather large equity loan. As a college professor I earn a decent salary but after years of illness in my family, my financial situation was stable; however, once the draw date came, it would have thrown my budget into a crisis. Ronnie spotted this and took the time to teach me, a teacher of thirty-five, years, exactly what this all meant for me.
She was so patient and and over the course of many weeks, Ronnie wrote email after email and made phone call after phone call to help me through the process of consolidating my mortgage and equity loan. Ronnie has a terrific sense of humor, and as I told her once, I never would have expected that someone could have made me actually laugh at the intricacies of this whole process. Ronnie then put me in touch with Lekeshia Grant to handle the processing of the loan itself. Lekeshia was also very patient and took the time in many emails to explain all the paper work I needed to do to process the loan. She was really a delight to work with, and she worked so well with Ronnie. Together they made a really great team and worked together to make the new loan work so well with my budget. This has given me such peace of mind now that I am a single person.
Now that the loan has been funded I feel as if I am saying good-bye to two friends. What more could exemplify what customer service is supposed to be. Both Ronnie and Lekeshia were so knowledgeable and patient in helping. As I told Ronnie once, “what would have happened to me if I had not met Ronnie Friedman?” After the many, many emails and phone calls. I feel I came to really know Ronnie. She is just an exceptional person in my opinion, and I do consider her a friend.
Greenlight should be very proud to have people like Ronnie Friedman and Lekeshia Grant representing their company. I know business is business, but Ronnie and Lekeshia prove that it can be personal as well.
