Absolutely CLUELESS, INEPT Employees I've Ever Experienced!

I work very senior positions in IT. I've been through 3-4 background-checks in the last 5 years. HireRight provided the absolute WORST experience I've ever had, to include getting a TS through the FBI! The Employment Verification as a secondary question of "Did this company pay you?" or something comparable. My last employer used ADP/Wells Fargo for payroll processing. I received a 'discrepancy alert' at 9:31pm MDT on a Friday. The message stated they could not verify EMPLOYMENT with ADP/Wells Fargo! I explained my initial entries in a LOT of detail, including I HAD NOT WORKED FOR EITHER ADP or WELLS FARGO in an e-mail AND provided W-2s for the 2 years I spent with my most recent employer as requested. the IDOTS sent their report to my prospective employer with the error on it, even though everything had been thoroughly explained!!! If this $100k job falls through, I'm hiring an attorney to sue the crap out of this company!
