Kia Motor Finance the customer service is horrible. The billing is criminal they reserve their own math formula which they apply to your payments. The Customer service Manger tried to explain to me that no matter how many monthly payments I made during a monthly billing cycle I would always be splitting the payments between interest and Principle because they're was no way the system there could recognize I already paid my monthly bill. Further more writing principle only is useless because they claim no one reads the check it's just fed into their computer processing system. I paid 3x the amount that would be due on my car and it was split 50/50 between principle and interest the more I'd pay the higher my interest payment would vary. at times the interest payment was higher than my normal payment which is 377. How could this be? If I paid 500 they would charge me 268 interest If I paid 1000 they would charge me 354 interest and when I paid 600 they would charge something else and these payments were made monthly with no lapses. The Manager said you're hurting yourself by paying more than your scheduled amount. Besides this when I went to register this car it was not even coming up sold in the DMV I had to write letters and they have a title department for this problem it happens much to often it took two years and several trips to the DMV and Sherrif station to remedy this. I would never ever buy a Kia ....................................................not to mention the repairs and the way my warranty was never honored this is Horrible Product and Horrible service to match my new car at time of Delivery had 1125 miles on it. They told me they were getting it from the back and it had to be detailed so my wife drove it home when I got in to check it out I was like what are these miles spoke to the manager but got no where. In the glove box was a previous owners insurance and information WTF...................Never buy a Kia............. they did rewrite the contract and make it a used car and knocked a few thousand off the price of the car. But they've gotten more than that with this billing scheme......................BEWARE OF KIA
