Court finds PSA Found Liable for Damaged Ticket
Follow-up. The New Jersey Civil Court, MID SC-001323015, Middlesex County, NJ in the case Kunz vs. PSA did rule that PSA was liable for the damage caused to a rare ticket that was submitted to PSA. The Court ruled that while PSA held control and custody (bailment) of said ticket that the damage occurred. This case can be used by future plaintiff's showing that PSA does damage items. While PSA does claim "activity is captured on camera at all times and items are handled by highly trained professionals", PSA president, Mr. Joe Orlando, stated in testimony that camera data would not be available for a item during 100 % of its processing time at PSA.
