Overall a really great experience

I sent gold, silver, platinum with gemstones and diamonds in several of the 17 or so pieces and also two watches. I was given a really weird offer, only a bit over $400 for all the items, totaling about 20 separate pieces and two high-value watches. I already had offers on the watches, which I decided to do via pictures with their online competitors to give me an idea of what to expect. Balked on the gemstone and gold/silver/metal offer as too low, got it extended to over double, to $950. Wow, a fast settlement! But, I had indicated before sending to them that I had these watch offers, but their site encouraged sending the high end watches, and they asked me to do it, citing their 10% over their competitor's offers automatically. Nope, not gonna happen. Got offered only $70 for the two watches combined,but the competition without even seeing more than pictures offered $3200, and that's what I got paid today! So, sellyourgold.com is great if you know the market values and don't expect miracles but don't want drama...but forget their 10% matching guarantee for any high end watches. They balked and didn't honor their own guarantee, so I sent off to Jay's Brokers and got a great deal, got the offer verified and money sent for those watches. The original packaging to send the watches back to me by sellyourgold.com was also very inferior, too, the box was tiny and was damaged on the outside--so glad they made it back so I didn't lose money on that part. Overall, good communication, but I do think it's confusing about all items, as they mainly deal with the high-end metals and jewels.
