Hate to share bad news, but had to share... AVOID The Paper Bag Princess on Olympic and Robertson!!!
They took a bunch of merchandise from me on consignment, and when I tried to start getting back what they didn't sell they gave me the run around... For 2 years I have been trying to get back the remainder of my stuff (I have 2 daughters who might like vintage one day!). Each time I called, I got a different story; the computers are down, I need to talk to the owner, I will start to get everything together and call you back... blah blah blah... Finally a week before my 2nd daughter was born I called them and said I will be there TOMORROW - gather what you can.
So, they coughed up 1/2 of my stuff and told me tough luck on the other half - I was now out of contract and they were no longer responsible. I asked them for a store credit - something- anything - to make some sort of good on my stuff that they "lost" (I think they sold it and just don't want to pay) and they said NO.
I am out over 1K in designer clothes...
Thought you should know so you shouldn't consign or shop there and fund their racket! This is clearly bad business practice.
