Wow! Exceeded my expectations!
So we decided it was time to replace our aging ski machine with an indoor cycle/exercise bike. I went the usual route, searching for reviews, using Amazon.com, etc. I narrowed things down to a few mid-range and high-end cycles - indoor training bikes - and came across a YouTube video featuring comparisons of three top cycles, reviewed by the owner, Jeff. FINALLY, I felt I had hit the jackpot. This guy seemed to know everything about these bikes, and his company ONLY deals with indoor bikes! He reviewed three of the top offerings - Schwinn AC Performance Plus, Keiser M3, and the Track Spinner BLADE. The differences were not obvious, but Jeff laid it out and made it easy for a lay person to understand. I was sold on the concept, and almost sold on the Schwinn. I went to their website, then back and forth, did more searching on the Schwinn model, etc. etc., making sure I did my homework. Finally ending up back on their website, I decided to get detailed information by talking w/someone. I used their online chat and got Steve - Gen. Manager - on! After a minute, we decided that a phone call would be best. He spent a LOT of time, patiently explaining all of the options, getting complete details about what I was doing, what I was expecting, what most folks go with and why, etc. etc. I learned quite a bit in a short amount of time, and I was completely confident that I had found the best dealer possible for purchasing a 'better' bike. Yes, going cheap...sure... no problem. And then every year or two, I'd be replacing it. Lifetime replacement parts??? Free shipping..ok some offer that, but they have an option to send you the completely BUILT bike, and because it's assembled at their factory, it will be tested, calibrated/tuned, and completely checked over. Voila! I ended up going for the in-home warranty because at the level of bike I was getting, it made complete sense. And he DID NOT push any of the higher-end accessories on me. Heck, I basically sold myself on the bike. These guys clearly have your back! I'm looking forward to the Schwinn and many, many years of excellent service. Based on the reliability of the model, I may never have to use their services for repairs, but if ANYTHING ever happens, I'm completely covered. It just doesn't get any better than this! There's no other dealer that offers what they do. So far, so great!
