A rep came into my shop while I was busy and let me know who he was and then told me he would come back when I had time. He came back 3 hours later and waited while I finished up with a customer. He explained to me that he could help my business save money and offered a free cost analysis. I let him look at my statement and he found several hidden fees that my processing company was charging me ( I won't say there name because I don't want a legal battle).
He showed me what they were offering and it was a great rate. I asked him what the catch was and he was Dead Honest. He said, "Honestly part of how our company grows and thrives is that our equipment is a little more expensive than the competition, however, what you need to realize is that the lease is only for a few years, and the amount that we are saving you is significantly more than what we are asking for on the lease." "Also the best part is, is that our lease program is 100% tax deductible, so you should see this as paying taxes every month and then write it off at the end of the year." I looked at the paperwork and I was saving $453.12 per month after the lease of new equipment. I did the math and I saw that he was saving me $5437.44 per year. Then I added in the tax write-off as well because it really is a writeoff, and I saved $6636.84 in 1 year. You might think these guys are being deceptive because there lease is high, but who cares when you aren't really paying that bill, the government is. The old company was overcharging me and none of it could be written off. They helped me in more ways then they promised. And my rep still comes by every few months to check on me.
