Carrington Mortgage Services helped reduce both our principal balance on our loan as well as our interest rate. I contacted them for a loan modification to reduce my interest rate and see what other help I could be afforded due to the drastic reduction in my homes value over the last 5 years. The process is not for the faint at heart as it takes an extended period of time to comply with all of the federal regulations. In the end I was very happy with the solution they offered us. I was able to reduce my interest almost 2 percentage points and I now feel my mortgage balance is much closer to the market value. Mr. Jason Farris was the most courteous and professional individual I've dealt with in a very long time. He was sympathetic to my families situation and provided us excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this company for both loan modification and refinance opportunities.
