I cannot speak to whether or not the company changed their name, but I did locate a report for United Steel Building out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. It seems that although they have a D+ rating, they've been responsive to BBB complaints, You might want to file with the BBB if you're unable to receive a response from them on your own. You can access the full report here: http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/Business-Report/United-Steel-Building-23001195

They appear to start a corporation, take money from consumers as deposits and never deliver the product or increase the price without merit. An investigative reporter connected the dots at:

The BBB in Florida is as impotent as is the rest of the state dept in Fl. BBB kept this company at a c and allowed this taking of moneys for over 1 1/2 years they should be dragged into court for not telling the truth's now has a F rating to little to late. I promote not going to the state of Florida and do not spend any money there you may be promoting crime. Sheriff, general attorney,Consumer Affairs with Joel Metters as the leader there and the AG. Dept. Are laughable must be the sun and the sand in their pants. This is my opinon and if I owned Florida and hell I would sell Florida and move to hell at least there I know what I am dealing with.

Hey Guys.
I sincerely feel for you with the crimes that USB perpetrated. It gives our whole industry a bad name and I sincerely hope that you are able to recoup your losses.
As an employee for Allied Steel, I would just like to kindly let Marco know that Allied cut all ties from the now-owners of of United Steel many years ago (Before they were United Steel).
I have successfully managed many projects in the Dutch Caribbean, including Curacao, so I have a special interest in making sure our name remains in good standing.
Thank you,
Chris
