Loan Modification scam by the Crawford law group.

How do I file a complaint. The Crawford Law Group charged me $3,000 paid in September 2010. They were supposed to handle my loan modification, but never delivered. They seemed to fall off the face of the earth in April 2011. We almost lost our home waiting on them and finally had to negotiate the modification ourselves to prevent foreclosure. I would also be interested in pursuing criminal theft charges against this firm and their representatives. If you guide me on that also it would be appreciated.

I agree with Bill M. File a complaint with the California State Bar. They do take action.

The attorney, John Evans Crawford, was disbarred on 02/18/11.
