Everything wrong with paypal
From when I opened my PayPal account, I have received incorrect information and terrible service, Now my account is shut down for no valid reason. I opened my Paypal account and from the very beginning was VERY honest about the nature of my business. Unfortunately, Paypal's representatives are so ill informed, not even MERCHANT SUPERVISORS understood the information I would give them. Let's readers digest the service I have received. 1. My account was limited AT LEAST 3 different times to verify my activity, which makes me think I was being targeted. 2. I, as well as many others I have confirmed, were CONSTANTLY given BAD information, including last week when I was told I had NO REASON to worry about my account because it was in GOOD STANDING, only to be shut down yesterday. 3. I lost charge backs from VERIFIED PayPal buyers and transactions that were held for 2-3 days at a time to REVIEW the payment. 4. Twice in one day I was placed on hold for 30 - 40 minutes despite relaying the urgency of the issue and that if the wait time was this long I needed to hang up and solve it myself. I'm not upset about the 40 minute hold. I'm upset that I was EXPLICITLY guaranteed it wouldn't be that long (granted this issue is more minor but speaks to the misinformation). 5. I was informed by one agent that my dispute was CLOSED and the case was no longer active only for a SUPERVISOR to tell me that it was being reviewed by the bank and was still active. THIS IS A BIG ONE!! You can't even tell me if my case is active and or some reason I'm counting on you to fight a Bank on my behalf? 6. I have SEEN an agreement between PayPal and another customer who does the EXACT same thing I do to set aside a small percentage of EACH transaction for a month to protect against charge backs... But when I called to offer the SAME deal, not only was I denied, Merchant Risk Operations WOULD NOT even let me talk to them to explain why their explanation to me yesterday was WRONG, and why they have NO REASON to shut me down. You won't even hear me out? You know what? I have a very long fuse, and 8 years of active duty service, missing my daughters birth in addition to missing anniversaries, birthdays and christmases, has built A LOT of patience on my part. But apparently that was not enough for you. Apparently, paying OVER $2000 in charge backs over the course of my account built NO good faith. But I get to watch scum who own 8 PAYPAL accounts with 6 ADDRESSES operate with impunity? This is a level of disrespect I can not and will not tolerate. I will make sure this story is posted on every possible forum that matters until PayPal no longer has the right to pretend they care about sellers, and you can NEVER again say you embrace bitcoins. Shame on you, I'm not even gonna say you should respect your military better. My ten years of customer service experience is going to say that you should have more respect for your CUSTOMERS. I am sincerely saddened with where this situation has led, because I have shown NOTHING but good faith only to be spat in the face.
