much better than their competition

i am comparing my experience with origin to my experience with a nationally known computer company, which i won't name, but their recently acquired product is in direct competition with Origin and their customer service is based in south east asia. I ordered the EON17 S. I've had it a week, and it's working great. Origin was proactive in their communication with me. The sales rep assigned to my order spoke english! he sent regular updates with no prompting from me, and replied to my questions within 24 hrs, if not a few hours. My computer did arrive later than originally expected. However, I was told about the delay and given the reason for it four days before my computer was supposed to arrive. It turned out to be one day late. The machine was well packaged (brilliant design actually) and came with the OS installed. I was playing Civilization within the hour. In contrast-- my horror show with that other company went like this--computer did not arrive when promised, in spite of email stating it had been shipped. no reason was given. calls & chat sessions ensued. was told case manager... blah blah blah. tried to cancel order, but no. six weeks later- Six. Weeks. Later. was told that someone dropped it and they couldn't replace the box?????? In contrast to that, Origin deserves ten stars. Please support local companies who believe in customer service. I'm hoping that Origin's promised lifetime support lives up to the same standard i experienced in purchasing from them. And I hope that Origin is not bought out by that nationally known computer company.

High performance PC

I bought the EON-17S series laptop and it has been arrive for a week. It works perfectly well. Radiating is the best part of the EON-17. After playing for a whole day, keyboard and touch pad are still ice cold. Origin PC is a good choice for customize.
It have the advantage both in price and workmanship. I believe my next computer will still be the ORIGIN PC.

Great service; Great product

I found Origin after seeing a random review online a while back. When I was ready to buy a new PC, my first look was to them. They had available online all of the top of the line hardware I wanted, and were willing to put in anything they didn't have listed. Long of it is, I put my money down and had them build me a start of the art at-home supercomputer. When it arrived, the results were nothing short of amazing. The quality of assembly is amazing. I've never seen such attention to detail in something as mundane as cable routing. Despite liquid cooling, multiple graphics cards and 4 HDD, you'd never know looking at the cabling. Everything is tied down, well routed and out of the way. Clean. Despite the overclocking, the system runs quietly when the fans are down (I have a manual knob to adjust the fans). Even when the fans are cranked to their max, it is still pretty quiet, considering. I've found the Origin team to be very friendly, helpful and professional. They'll entertain the slightest whim of a customer when it comes to building a computer.

What I like best is the unparalleled 24hr tech service . Each time I called . They helped me install my own internal HD and it took well over an hour including bios changes . The equipment is top shelf cross the board ....it's my first PC in 7 yrs so I built a rocket ship with their help .. Words cannot describe how different from Dell this has been. ..... Run to the future with the x Alienware gang and never look back !!! 10 stars

Origin shipping department review

The origin shipping department has no idea what they are doing. I ordered a EON15-S and they had told me that it would be shipped the 26th of december than they told me that they would ship it the 23rd than they told me it would ship the 28th than they changed it to the 4th of january so i changed my shipping type from ground to air because i needed to get my laptop before i started college they said ok and here they shipped it ground and tried to still charge me with the next day air fee but i had argued with the department and they had finally refunded me the shipping cost.

Outstanding Quality and Customer Service

I bought my computer through Origin PC when they paired up with Mass Luminosity to build a limited release computer. From day one they were in contact with me about the process behind buying the computer/getting everything finalized/process of building the computer. They always replied with detail and very quickly. When I got the PC I had an issue where it would crash when I was playing a certain game, but I got in touch with them that day and everything was sorted out within 30 minutes of being on the phone. 5/5 for this outstanding company!

Great PC buying experience from start to finish

Prior to ordering my Origin PC, I asked several questions about the system and received quick and courteous replies with no high-pressure sales tactics. Upon ordering, Bryant, my Origin customer service rep, contacted me to ask some preferences for system set-up, as well as to help make sure everything went smoothly with order processing. When my PC arrived, everything was set up exactly as ordered and requested, and their wooden shipping crate with foam inserts protected it very well in transit. It worked perfectly right out of the box with no problems, and I appreciated the fact that the most recent Windows Updates available at the time had already been applied. It was also great to see that the only software installed besides the OS was that which was related to installing the various system components. I am impressed with Origin’s build quality and customer service and would definitely order from them again in the future and recommend their systems to others.

10/10 in every aspect

From the start, the support from Origin has been great, keeping me up to date with any developments, and going through with me the steps I needed to follow when I had issues with payment. The whole process was entirely stress-free, So much better than any other company I've ordered with. 10/10 for the support throughout, and many thanks. For the actual product, the EON17-S, it's even better than expected. It arrived in a cool crate, full with the goodies I'd ordered, and exciting simply in itself. The sleek style of the actual laptop is beautiful, and something I'll proudly have on display for anyone to see. Now when it comes to what I actually brought it for, running high-req software, such as games, it runs more smoothly than anything I've had in the past, even with the highest requirement games I have at hand, all the while running multiple programs in the background. On top of this, even after over a month of persistent use, not once have I experienced a crash, freeze or anything I could find fault in with my usage, which honestly I find amazing with my experiences in the past with laptops. The only thing I could potentially consider as anything but perfect is the fingerprint reader, which struggles to read my print a lot of the time, but even this I put down to the fact my fingers are often being worn and cut due to my profession. Overall, I still give this a product, along with the support for it, a 10/10, as honestly I couldn't have asked for more in the whole experience.

Best Custom PC/Laptop Company so far!

I'm at work right now so I can't make this too in-depth but I've owned my EON17-S for about a month now and wanted to write a quick review. Here are the main specs (off the top of my head): i7 2.6ghz, 16GB 1866MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM, NVidia GTX 680M, Samsung 256gb 830SSD, 750GB 2nd Mechanical Drive, Intel Wireless 6300 Ultimate-N This laptop is a BEAST! I love how quickly it boots up - no need for Sleep mode, shutting down and booting back up is so quick I don't mind waiting a few extra seconds. I've got Windows & my games installed on the SSD and all my documents and backup files on the 750gb mechanical. Games boot up VERY fast with the SSD! Steam loads quick as well. As for in-game performance, I couldn't ask for anything better. I can proudly max all my settings in Borderlands 2 and Diablo 3 (yes, I was one of the few who enjoyed D3) without going over 80C. Surprisingly, the CPU gets hotter than the GFX card most of the time. Hottest I've seen one of the CPU cores reach is 89C while playing Borderlands 2 with everything maxxed out. Hottest I've seen the 680M is about 79C. It felt really good when my buddy's brand new MSI laptop crashed using all max settings in Diablo 3 while mine handled it with no problem. He has a GTX 675M. As for the look and feel, I definitely like the professional style of Origin. It doesn't look like a gaming laptop - it looks serious. More like a secret agent laptop or something out of The Matrix If I have time over the weekend, I'll upload some pictures. And finally, the support was AWESOME. Origin took a little longer than expected but made it up to me with MORE than expected. They had fast responses and solutions to every problem and gave me some bonus goodies for going past the estimated ship date. I highly doubt any other company would have done this so professionally & willingly. If you're interested in my tech background, I am currently 23 years old and built my first desktop at age 14 (Pentium4 with an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro). I built a second desktop in 2008 (i7 920 with Radeon 4870X2) which lasted several years, but definitely not as long as it should have. It was mainly my fault for moving it around so much (back and forth from home to college) and not using proper cooling (should have used liquid with that GFX card). I was tired of dealing with overheating, replacing parts and lugging around a monster tower. It was always my dream to get a super gaming laptop, but I never had the funds up until this summer/fall when I got my first real salary job. The EON17-S was my first major purchase after saving up my first couple weeks of paychecks and I wouldn't have changed a thing looking back. Now I can travel around to my friends' houses and bring all the gaming power of a desktop with me! Thank you OriginPC, you helped bring my dreams to reality. And special thanks to Origin's Erika for being my sales rep!

The Magic is Back.

In the early 2000's, I had purchased a machine from Alienware. In July of 2012 I was in the market for a new machine. I found several options, including building it myself, but I desired warranty and troubleshooting services so I looked for a custom builder. Dell's acquisition of Alienware seems to have left many with bad experiences with them, and customization options were limited. I read that the pre-Dell executives of Alienware had started a new company and I decided to check them out. I am sure glad I did. -Ordering was painless. -When a problem arose with the initial purchase, it was handled immediately. Props to Bryant. -It was packaged like we were protecting the crown jewels. A huge wooden crate, custom foam inserts and a reusable protective cover for the PC itself. -Perfectly clean hardware install, with no wires dangling anywhere in the case. -Perfectly clean software install. Nothing installed unless you asked for it. -Hot-swap bays pre-wired to MOBO, no work required to slot some of my drives in. -All the extra parts from the install, and all product literature was included. -Neat little folder with Origin apps, wallpapers, etc. already on the machine, but not loaded and already chewing up RAM and CPU cycles. It's everything the old Alienware was, best summed up by the tag line on the free poster: "A decade of excellence...reborn" I will be purchasing from Origin again.

Origin offers great products

Great performance, many options, and budget friendly. Customer survive was helpful every step of the way and was always able to be contacted. Origin is a great company and highly recommended. Their laptops look great and are well designed. The vents go through the back of the unit on the EON 17S so there is no worrying about vents on the underside that tend to get blocked like on other brands. The back-lit keyboard is great if it is dark. Most functions like volume, screen brightness, display power and keyboard brightness are available from several short cut commands on the keyboard itself. With the design of the unit itself, heat is not a problem. Origin produces great products.

One of the few great companies left.

Totally blown away with the experience. My laptop arrived right on time, as well as configured exactly as I had asked. I ran into a snag soon after getting it and the technical support rep (John) went above and beyond the call of duty. I was completely impressed with the support. From the Sales rep to the Tech support, the company has exceeded expectations. I had requested a specific paint job for my laptop, and It turned out much better then I expected. I love how the paint looks. The laptop arrived with everything I would need, such as recovery disks with factory image. The wooden crate it arrived in was solid and kept the machine protected during shipping via ups. The box the laptop was in was also packed very well and had a cushion that further protected it from vibrations. They even threw in a free T shirt and poster.

I will NEVER look anywhere else for my computer needs. Origin PC at OriginPC.com is all you need.

THE FIRST PARAGRAPH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ORIGIN PC. SKIMMING IT MAY RESULT IN YOU THINKING ORIGIN PC IS BAD. READ SECOND PARAGRAPH FOR MORE ORIGIN PC RELATED REVIEW First of all I would like to talk a little bit about myself. I have little to no knowledge when it comes to computers. So, I thought costume designing my own computer would be scary. Also, I was afraid that what I created would not only suck, but be the complete opposite of what I wanted. You may be thinking, how could it not be what you wanted if you designed it? Well, it goes a little like this: You have an idea in your head about an awesome computer to play all your favorite games on. Then, you go to new egg and buy parts you THINK you need. THEN you build the computer on you own. THEN...it ends up sucking because the specifications were not as good as you thought and many parts were not compatible with each other. That was my experience when I tried to build my own computer five to six years ago. So now that the introduction of myself and why I was afraid to design another computer is out of the way, I can tell you how Origin PC helped me and literally changed what I know and how I feel about costumer service and satisfaction. Some time in early July I finally decided to pull the trigger and start choosing the specs for my new computer that I needed and had been saving up for. While I was doing this, and not feeling very confident about it, I noticed towards the top of the Origin PC homepage that there was a phone number for lifetime 24/7 phone and online service. At first I thought "This must be some sort of scam...how could they provide that without having some sort of fee? I bet the service is terrible." I could not have been more wrong. After becoming more and more apprehensive about creating my computer I finally picked up my phone to see what this service was all about. After about ten seconds of listening to the opposite of elevator music, someone picked up. Now, whoever this was, I want to apologize for not remembering your name because you are incredible and I can not thank you enough for helping me. Anyway, after telling the costumer service representative what I was trying to do, he proceeded to follow along with me step by step and help me create EXACTLY what I wanted within the amount of money I could spend. This alone would deserve a five star review, but there is more. Not only did this person help me design a computer that exceeded my expectations, but he did so without breaking his patience(trust me you need a lot of this with the number of stupid questions I asked), honesty, or salesmanship honor. Here is what I mean by salesmanship honor: He could have told me anything and I would have believed him! But, instead of trying to up-sell me (make money off of me), he helped me save money and make an even better computer than I imagined with my budget. Now, I'm not a money grubber, but when someone is selling me on something and they tell me a part is just as good as another that is 150 bucks more, I am very grateful. After all, I'm only twenty and need to eat when I get back to college! So that covers my first encounter with Origin PC. Let's recap: So far a sales representative helped my create my computer from the ground up with tons of fine tuning and other configurations when it came to what I needed. This took an hour where the entire time he was extremely helpful. So now, my computer is ordered and on the way. Now lets talk about the time in between the ordering and the arrival of my new computer: This section is a little more brief but even after this there is more! Anyway, just about once a week, I was sent an email by one of their employees named Miguel (I'm assuming he is one of their engineers). In these emails he asked me what a few preferences of mine were like what kind of browser I would like or if there were and icons I would like etc. He also let me know how the progress was with my computer. So, once again, exceptional service on the part of Origin PC and Miguel. Thank you Miguel! Now I would like to talk about my second encounter with the "on the phone" costumer service. THIS is what made me want to write this review and let the world know just how much I appreciate Origin PC and ALL of their employees. Anyway, my computer had just arrived that day and I was happily trying to get it set up so I could relax and use the beast. Of course I ran into many simple problems that I couldn't solve on my own. If I recall, there were four issues that I had. For EVERY separate issue I had, I called the tech support. That's four times that I called with a new stupid question. And, that's four times that Daniel, the BEST sales representative I have EVER had the pleasure of speaking to, helped me by talking me through the issues. For example, the first issue was that my HDMI input was too large and I didn't know there were smaller HDMIs. Daniel patiently told me that there was such a things as micro HDMI for the newer graphics cards. Issue one solved. My second issue that I called for (I got Daniel on the line every time...poor guy) was that I turned my computer on only to hear my fan make a horrible noise! Oh no! Well it turns out I never took the packaging out of the tower that kept my mother board and other cards from being damaged. Thanks Daniel! Once again he kept his kind tone and let me know what was wrong. (SIDE NOTE: ORIGIN PC SHIPPING IS AMAZING!! THE COMPUTER CAME IN A SHIPPING CRATE THAT LOOKED LIKE IT COULD GO THROUGH A WAR ZONE: END SIDE NOTE) My third issue was not being able to get the side panel back on. And yes, I called Daniel to help me...Or maybe he was still on the line...I don't remember. And finally, after helping me through ALL of these silly things with not even a hint of becoming fed up with me and all my stupid questions, I called Daniel ONE MORE TIME because I could not connect to the internet through my Ethernet cable. After an HOUR of staying on the line and guiding me through every option short of going to BestBuy and getting a new network adapter (Which I did today. I called Origin PC while I was in the store to compare different cards and different options like USB adapters), Daniel and I figured out that somewhere in the walls of my house, the Ethernet cable was torn or disconnected. Whoops. So that concludes the issues that I called Daniel for. Throughout the entire experience (And I really want to get this point across), Daniel was very personable, very helpful, very patient, and very happy to solve all of my problems. Once again, he is by far the BEST costumer service representative I have ever come across. So, I want to thank Origin PC for hiring him. Here are some other comments: I want to thank EVERYONE at Origin PC for being such an amazing company. It seems as though their entire staff is filled with people like Daniel. Also, the way they go about conducting business and striving for costumer satisfaction goes beyond that of any other company I've interfaced with. To the reader: if you are planning on buying a new computer that you want to design, I would look no further than OriginPC.com. You will be amazed at how happy you are with the end result. And, if you are like me and you aren't very computer savvy but LOVE technology, ask for Daniel. To Origin PC: You have me as a costumer for LIFE. Thank you for being so amazing. If I could give you six stars, I'd try and give you seven. Sincerely, James-Order number 4181...or was it 7609?

Origin PC was the best PC buying experience I have had

First, the customization options while designing my PC of choice were unbelievably varied and detailed. The ordering process was simple and I was contacted by a customer service representative to keep me informed. The build took around a month as I expected since it was overclocked for me and tested thoroughly. Throughout the process I was able to contact Miguel, the customer service representative, and he continually updated me with a detailed progress report. Upon receiving the PC I was immediately impressed. The crate it was shipped in was made of solid wood and well built. The PC was in perfect condition and upon plugging it in I was simply blown away. The level of craftsmanship and detail that went into the PC were phenomenal. The performance of the PC exceeded my already high expectations.

Origin PCs

I purchased an Origin PC about 4 months ago, and if you are reading this and are thinking about buying one, DON'T DO IT. I waited 2 weeks extra before the PC shipped to me, and when I finally received it, it was missing parts. I sent it back and they managed to mess it up even more. Now I'm stuck working with their horrible service department trying to get everything working correctly on it. Probably going to have to send it back a second time. GO WITH ANOTHER BRAND. You won't regret it.

Best Computer ever

For a long time, I thought Alienware computers were fantastic, but I could only read about them and drool over them online. As I used my old 2002 Dell desktop, I would read of Alienware and long for one. As time passed and I saved up money, I eventually came to the time when I was going to be able to spend money more exorbitantly on just myself as our kids were grown and away. I was surprised to discover that Alienware was now being sold through Dell, and I had not known about the buyout…I configured a couple of systems, but they didn’t have the individual factor that I recalled, and I wasn’t totally at peace. In late April out of the blue, I had the idea to Google “best custom laptop” and started reading the links. I found your site, and Digital Storm who is out here on the west coast. I also read a lot of notebook and laptop forums, and went pages deep into them reading and sifting for details. It was there that I discovered the whole story about how you guys were the founders of Alienware, and wanted to still make computers like you used to and so you started your new company. I was very intrigued, and so I started reading your site in detail and liked what I saw. However, I also really liked Digital Storm’s site as well, and as an aside, it was just a bit easier to configure things on…it saves how much the total is as you add or subtract components, all the way through the build. On your site, when you go to Page 2 for accessories, and then try to go back to Page 1 to re-jigger things, it resets what you have back to the starting point. This was mildly irritating when I knew I was buying from Origin, but frankly, it was a pretty big factor in tilting me towards Digital Storm…I got up the next morning resolved to actually call you guys first, and give you a courtesy chance to convince me to buy from you, but I had pretty much decided that Digital Storm would be ok, and as they were on the west coast, geography seemed like a barrier. Before I called I did a bit more reading and thinking, and then almost didn’t call! What a moron I would have been! I DID call, and was answered by Danny Gonzalez. I told him what I was up to, what I wanted and why, and that I was considering a Digital Storm build as well. Danny was so gracious, knowledgeable and courteous. I actually tried to “bait him” into bad mouthing the competitor…I actually do not like it when someone tries to sell me a product by criticizing the competition, so I figured if he took the bait, it would tell me that he didn’t have confidence in his own product. Well, I was so pleased that he talked good about Digital Storm, and didn’t bad mouth them at all when I asked him to tell me why I should not buy their computer. He then asked me if he could instead tell me what makes Origin PCs so great, and I said sure. I was secretly hoping for this kind of approach. He then proceeded to explain to me why Origin is so great…customer service. He explained how once I am with Origin, I am cared for from there on out. He related stories of people who needed tech support and when they called, the person who built the computer was brought in and knew exactly how to advise the customer for the solution. He talked about how you guys pay the freight both ways for problems or issues, and he said that Origin would not rest until I was completely happy. The only thing he ever said about Digital Storm was that a lot of his current customers were former Digital Storm customers, and that they had come over to Origin for the service. All of this was good information, but honestly, what I really liked was Danny…his kindness and calmness and expertise. He respected that I was not a novice and knew my way around, but he wasn’t afraid to steer me away from options that were “hi-zoot factor” but not the best use of my money. He listened to what my goals are, and then really helped guide me through. I didn’t feel like he tried to pawn off on me what was overstocked, but really heard the heart of the matter, and was a huge help. I got off the phone with him, and I was blown away…did some more reading, and found out that Digital Storm and Origin have vastly different approaches to shipping, returns, etc. So then I decided to read all the warranty information on both sites, and qualitative differences showed up fast… I called my wife and told her that I had decided to go with Origin, and she was surprised because when I left for work I had told her I was giving Origin a courtesy call, and was going to let them give me reasons to go where I thought I wanted to go already. She asked me to tell her what Danny told me, and when I was done, she asked me how my call to DS went…I laughed and told her that I never ever called them! Why should I? Everything I wanted was right there!!! I just knew in my gut this was right. During the day, Danny and I emailed back and forth different configurations that fit my budget, working and tweaking, and by 4 PM Pacific I was settled, so I called to have one last conversation. Danny was busy in a meeting, so I talked with another guy…Miguel maybe? Can’t recall, but he was equally nice, knowledgeable, and just as firmly resisted one last attempt to bait him! LOL! Never was anything bad said about anyone else…only about who and what Origin is. I ordered a 17x…the fated one that hit the delays. There was about a 2 week period where I was waiting, and during that time I began to wish I had gone with the 15s chassis…this was what both Danny and the other guy had tried to steer me towards, but I thought I knew what I wanted. I felt it in my gut that they were right, but I had already ordered, didn’t want to be a problem, etc…so I just sucked it up. Besides, I rationalized that this was a desktop replacement, so its beastly size was no problem. I got an email from Danny like on May 10th, deeply apologetic for how long my 17x would be in production, etc. etc…you know the issues there. And I was HAPPY! I quickly pulled up some of the systems I had been wishing I had gone with, emailed Danny and asked him to call when he had a chance. He called and immediately was concerned for me, apologizing, etc…and I told him I was psyched up and this was working out even better, and as we talked we very quickly had an alternative that is much better than what I was going to try to get. I couldn’t have been happier! I took the extra money that I saved and jacked the processor outta the room, and Danny pulled me back in and said that I should drop to the one just under that and save that money! Yeah, he put money back into my pocket instead of upselling me!! He also gave me free shipping, free Armor crate (what a freaking great crate! My wife said it looked like the Ark of the Covenant was being sent to us! ? ), and a credit for all of my “trouble”, which I was blown away by! He put a rush on the build, even though I insisted I wasn’t in a rush, as I prefer it done right the first time. He stayed in touch throughout the process, and I was so impressed with him. When the computer came, I stayed up all night messing with it! I forgot to eat, literally. I have such a feeling of wonder and excitement in my gut. I completely love it. I am amazed at its elegant simplicity. It reminds me of a racecar that looks ordinary and then blows away everyone everywhere. I love how fast the SSD is…I cannot say enough good things about it and I have only had it for 3 days. I have not gamed on it yet, but probably will sometime a little bit…I mostly gamed with the kids when they were at home. I had an issue with the laptop cooler that I bought from you guys…the port that you plug the USB from the computer into the cooler detached from the cooler and pushed inside the cooler…Bummer! The fans still work fine, but I no longer had the extra SUB docking capacity. Well, I called tech support and told Jacob my problem and told him that my hope was to keep this cooler while they sent out a replacement and then I would send this one back…but if this wasn’t an option I understood. He said that not only was it an option, but that was just how you guys always did things! (Yeah, I read that this was true, but to actually discover it was true…yeah!!). He also said that you paid shipping out to me, and paid shipping for the defective one coming back…so much for geographic barriers! He was so kind and made me feel like I matter. Hector, I conclude by saying this: every computer I buy from now on for myself will be from you guys. I am hopeful to steer my kids your way when they upgrade, and each and every person I ever find who is considering buying a computer I will do my best to send your way…simply because you are the best.. Please see to it that Danny, Miguel and Jacob all get kudos and rewards, ad assure your partners that your approach and vision is absolutely dead on right on! Bless you and keep you, Budd White

Professional Performance

I work for small energy company and I was looking for a high performance desktop for heavy data crunching and 3D mapping programs. I had heard about ORIGIN PC as being for high end gaming computers but I decided to check them out anyways. I was surprised to find their website had a huge amount of professional and business options as well. They offered a lot more customization options than other companies at very competitive rates. The most impressive part of my experience with ORIGIN PC was their customer service. They made the ordering process very easy and they paid attention to my needs and wants as a customer. It took about 3 weeks for the computer to come in but it was worth the wait. The computer runs great and has had no problems so far. I will definitely be using ORIGIN PC in the future.

Above and beyond expectations!

I purchased a new laptop from Origin PC in February, 2012. I was very impressed with the performance of the machine, but I didn’t realize that the EON17 would be such a big rig, and as a frequent traveler who needs to travel much lighter than that, I had to return the computer. I thought that Origin would grumble about it, take the computer back, and then send me on my merry way. But the folks at Origin surprised me by contacting me and helping me to find a computer that better fit my needs. They went so far as to help me choose the features I needed and took the extra time to explain everything to me. I am not a computer wiz, but I am a consumer who needs a powerful laptop for work and play, and Origin’s staff made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Within a few days, my old laptop went back to Origin, and they sent me my new laptop soon afterwards, which was everything I was looking for. Two thumbs up!

My Origin Experience

First off if you don't want to read the wall of text about to follow. This company is amazing. It's how a business should be run. Not only did they build an amazing machine, and trust me its phenomenally well done, but the journey was, in itself, and experience unmatched. When I put in my order I got a personalized email thanking me and letting me know that Miguel would be my personal representative. He then went on to ask me a few questions about how I would like the desktop, web browser, user name etc. setup so my computer would truly be Mine. He kept me informed the entire way. The testing process that they do is incredibly thorough. Miguel emailed me at one point and brought out the fact that one of my hardware components wasn't working good enough for what I wanted so he gave me a suggestion and even upgraded it for free. Then it arrived in all its wooden crate glory. Opening it and the first boot up was amazing! it doesn't have any bloatware, nor anything I didn't want so it's RAM and processor are free to roam how it wants and it blazes through everything! I can't say enough on how its not just a custom computer that I got but it was a custom Experience that only origin provides!
