I hope someone at carrington actually reads these reviews!i am so stressed and dissappointed in carrington, i knew i was going to end up loosing the house, when we moved to sc, we had no ideamy husband would bevome fatally ill,to the point of his cardiologist telling him to quit trying so hard to wirk!!he died may9,2014, if we had known this would happen, we would never have tried to buy a home, just let what little we hd get eaten up by rent!, nor could we forsee me having a near fatal stroke within weeks of my husband dying! I am paralized on my left side, can no longer drive or work,because of it. When i first got the paperwork saying they were going to take the house.i called the number,asked how long did i hve to get my things out? What i got was an i dont know, but we will keep you informedat each step. Bulls***i never got one minute of warning when they changed the locks!they had my phone number,and i got nary a one. Call, or voicemail! My oldest son holds my poa, he sent documentation, he tried several times to communicate with carrington, and they were very uncoiperative with him!, so, now, i have some things of great sentimental value to me locked in the house with no access! I cry every day, rhinking how much those things from my husband mean to me. I want desperstely to retrieve them, they are irreplaceable!!i am in a nursing home right now until i recover more fully,and someone stole my wedding rings! More tears!!every day!!!!to think that someone would steal from a crippled widow is repregensible, to say the least, i feel like i have been stolen from again!this time by carrington! Things worth little to nothing to srll! My engraved cake knives from my wedding, i want from carringtons a time and date to be able to go into the house on a search and rescue mission! For these things that have such great sentimental value to me!!!please! If i could get down on my knees and beg, i wouldpleasevhave a heart, and let a poor old widow womanhave her memories!!
